FIRE IN MELBOURNE
(Received December 14, 3 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The timber yards of R. and J. Linary, of Prahran, were razed to the ground by a fire and damage of about £15^000 was done. Firemen, assisted by a hundred citizens, fought a hopeless battle for '• two hours. Six volunteers were.injured by falling timbers and iron. Two firemen received electric shocks.
