(Received December 14, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 13. Investigations following the death of Sir Henry Birkin revealed the astonishing disappearance of a fortune of over £2,000,000 within eleven years. Sir Thomas B'irkin, father of the racing motorist, died in 1931, leaving £137,825,
while Sir Henry, the third baronet, left only £6439. The original Birkin fortune was made by the first baronet, a Nottingfiam lace manufacturer, who died in 1922. . ...
