ALTERATION TO RULE
KICKING INTO TOUCH
(Received December 14, 2 p.m.). SYDNEY, This Day. Seeking New Zealand and South African support, the New South Wales Eugby Union will again approach the Home unions in an effort to secure dispensations to play amended rules. The council has announced that both [ tho sister Dominions will be asked if they will link themselves with the local body in a concerted' appeal. Should South Africa and New Zealand agree, a move will be made through the Dominion delegates on the Rugby Football Union (England) for an alteration to the rule governing kicking into touch "Similar to the dispensation allowed New Zealand and Australia from 1923 until the beginning of the 1931 season.
