THE YEAR'S STATISTICS
(Received December 14, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 13. The annual statistics show that , the Church of England is holding its own. The number of church people over 18 on the Electoral rolls is 3,652,424, of whom 2,279,713 wero Easter communicants. There were 406,069 baptisms during the year. The Sunday school scholars totalled 1,783,001. Voluntary contributions amounted to £6,309,843, of which £1,177,967 was for the support of the clergy and £453,628 for foreign missions. ■ •
