LONDON, November S. Iv the House of Commons, tlio Colonial Secretary (Sir Philip Cunliffe Lister) said that the National Maltese Ministry had shown an' unmistakable intention of frustrating the conditions regarding the teaching of the Italian language, upon which the Constitution had been restored. . Their general administration caused grave concern. The Ministry, despite warnings, persisted in a policy prejudicial to Maltese and British interests. The British Government was bound to act as it did.
