RESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENT
DANGER OF SUSPENSION

MALTA, November 7.
Lord Strickland's Constitutional Party and also the Labour Party have communicated with the Governor (Sir D. Campbell) contending that tho suspension of the Constitution endangered responsible government, urging a declaration by the Imperial Government that it had no intention of ending Maltese self-government, and requesting temporary legislation to ensure a fair election.
