Women's Study Circle. The speaker at the last meeting of the Women's Study Circle, held in the Y.W.C.A. rooms, was Mrs. A. E. Stone, who gave an address on the "Aims and Objects of the Now Zealand Legion." Mrs. Stone answered many questions of interest during the discussion which followed, and was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks. Athenian Effort. In the spirit of the National Confidence Carnival, members of the Wellington .Athenian Club have arranged a flannel dance for supporters of the Aquatic Princess to be held at the Evans Bay Yacht and Motor-boat Clubhouse, Evans Bay Eoad, tomorrow night. A special bus will leave Cour- • tenay Place at 7.55 p.m., and arrangements are complete for a characteristic gathering". •
