ENJOYABLE EVENING
DANCING AND BRIDGE
A very enjoyable - dance was given by Mr. T. H. - pill sat hys residence. Grant Road, recently, when a large gathering of young people were entertained. The hostess, Mri S. E. Hill (who wore a black lace frock and coatee), was assisted by: her two nieces, Miss Doreen HiJl (who;;wOre white net and lace) and Miss Ada Donaldson (in green and white check organdie). A profusion of Iceland poppies, tulips, and roses decorated the room. Cards were played in the drawing-room, and dancing was enjoyed in the ballroom, Mr. Wilson providing the music. ' Among those present were Mesdames C. Hill (who wore a black lace frock), D. Olsen, F. Warder, E. Carter, C. S. Black, V/. F. Cuthbertson, Cooper, Newton, Lcuchars, Fitchett, McLachlan C. Whitcman, B. Cooper, East, Keys, Machell, and E. Joyce; Missea V:. Hill (who wore pale pink figured elephant crepe), M. Machell (scarlet georgette), Harvey (black velvet and sequin cape), E. Whisker (blue crinkly crepe), Dalton (pale pink organdie), D. MeKmley (pink lace), M. Shore (green organdie), B. Clarke (tangerine velvet), M. Williams (white figured georgette), Cuthbertson (palo pink lace), H. . and D. Keys, L. Black, Taylor, Lindburgh, A. Puddick, J. Sutherland (green velvet), N Townsend (white blistered crepe), and B.
