OBITUARY
MRS. ELIZABETH SUTHERLAND,
After a long and painful illness Mrs. Elizabeth Sutherland passed away recently at her home, 02 Owen Street. She was born in Cornwall in" 186.6,' and came with her parents, the Rev. H; B. and Mrs. Redstone, to New Zealand four years later. As she grew up she took an active interest in church and Sunday school work, and in the cause of Temperance. In 1597 she married Mr. Thomas Sutherland, of Rangiorn, and her home has been in Wellington ever since. She had a large circle of. friends and was greatly beloved 'by "all. She was ill for over nine years prior to her death, and bore her weakness and pain with wonderful patience, always greeting her friends with a bright and cheerful countenance.
Her husband, daughter, and surviving sister, Mrs. Thomas Fee,, have ths deep sympathy of their many friends.
