COLLEGE OLD GIRLS
TENNIS CLUB OPENED
Under excellent weather conditions, the official opening of the Wellington East Old Girls' Tennis Club was performed recently by Miss A. M. Batham, who wished the club a successful season and complimented it on its increased membership. She congratulated the club on the introduction of a new rule which permitted, not only old girls of the college, but also thoir friends to become eligible for membership. Play continued throughout the afternoon, and the well-contested tournament resulted in a win for Misses M. Windsor and J. Myers, with Misses N. Millar and I. Lucas, as runners-up-. Among those present were Miss A. M. Batham, Misses M. Windsor, E. Miller, R. Webby, D. Cunningham, J. Myers, N. Millar, M. Machell, N. Neill, P. Breeze, G. Swinsou, O. Hamilton, M. Denton, and E.
