TAIHAPE STOCK SALE.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual sale at Taihape on Wednesday, when a fair yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle came to hand. There was a good attendance of buyers, and prices were well maintained, all classes of sheep being in good demand; The cattle, which comprised chiefly dairy sorts, were dull of sale. Quotations: Ewe hoggets in the wool, 22s Id; smaller sorts, 17s; aged ewes in the wool with lambs at ■foot, 23s 2d; fat ewes in the wool, 16s, 17s sd, to ISs Gd; fat wethers in the wool, 2ls 3d; shorn fat maiden ewes, 15s 6d; fat shorn ewes, 13s 9d; 4-year store bullocks, £4 7s 6d; fat cows, £4 to £4 ss: store cows, 30s to £2; dairy heifers, £3 7s 6d to £4 12s 6d; fat heifers, light, £2 Is; Jersey bulls, £10, £3 3s; yearlings, l%gs to 2 f/4gs; potter bulls, 30s to £2.
