WAIKATO HORSE SALE
The annual Rpring horse fair conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., was held in the Waikato on Wednesday, when 75 horses were offered. There was a fairly good attendance, but bidding was not very brisk. A truck of draughts sold on account o£ Mr. S J. Suisted (Palmerston North) sold from £25 up to £37. Best heavy draughts brought £28 to £35 10s; good standard farm horses, £19 to £26; medium, £13 to £]9; unbroken, medium, £19 to £25 10s; lighter, £12 to £17; good hacks, £16 to £20.
