BATTERY REUNION
Wartime memories were revived at the fourteenth annual reunion of the Ist Battery, N.Z.F.A., held in Wellington last evening. Captain R. E. Bennett presided, and amongst those present were Colonel F. Symon (Director of Artillery), Dr. A. J Doctor, Colonel R. St. J. Beere, and Captain Melville. The following prominent members of the battery were also present: Messrs. C. McKenzie, J. Gapes, J. Pickford, S. Sadler, E. Clunies-Ross, and J, Henzihvood. A pleasant evening was spent with reminiscences of wartime episodes, and "the opportunity was taken to renew many old' friendships.
