SEARCH PARTY FUND

MASTERTON, July 26,
Mr. G-. Selby, secretary of the Masterton Search Party Committee, has received a letter from Dr. W. B. Suteh, a member of the party of trampers which was missing- in the Tararuas at Easter time, enclosing £3 as a contribution to the permanent Search Party Fund.
Dr. Sutch explains, that Mr. R. F. Williams, father of Miss M. "Williams, another member of tho party which was missing, gave tho "missing trampers" a sum of .money to be divided among the various tramping clubs as a small contribution to the expenses incurred in searching for the trampers. On his own behalf and that of his companions, Dr. Sutch again thanks members of the local committee and the people of the Wairarapa for everything that was done for tho missing trampers and for the sympathy shown them. Ho adds that the- members of the party are all well, but not as physically fit as they were before Easter.
