TODAY'S COMMUNITY SING
Tho community sing held in the Town Hall today was again attended with onthusiasm. The amount raised in aid of tho Mayor's Belief Fund was £20 17s Bd. The song leaders were Messrs. Owen Pritchard and Will Mason, and the guest of tho day was Miss Nelle Seanlou who gave an interesting talk, on economic conditions in the Dominion as compared with other countries which she had .visited. New Zealand, she said, had not yet had cause to know poverty as it was experienced overseas, particularly in Continental countries.
