TRAM STOP WANTED
The request for a tram stop •in Rintoul Street for outward tramcars was preferred to the Tramways Committee yesterday afternoon by a deputation from. Stokes Street residents. There are two stops for cars running in towards the city,.but none at thia spot for outward cars. The position of the stop asked was cither at Millward Street or Stokes Street. It was pointed out that a large number of residents would take advantage of such a stop if it were put in. The committee decided to refer the matter to the general manager of tramways for report.
