PARACHUTIST'S PERIL
RESCUE BY LIFE-SAVER
(Received June 5, 11 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. Making a parachute descent from an aeroplane at a height of 2500 feet at the Southport carnival, A. Milne was caught by a strong wind and carried half a^ile out to sea. A surf boat was launched and a reel rushed from tho beach, and after a great swim through a heavy sea a life-saver reached the parachutist, who was brought safely ashore.
