WIN FOR TARANAKI
WANCANUI PACK BEATEN
(By Telegraph.—Press. Association.) WANGANUI, June 4. Taranaki defeated Wanganui at Rugby today by 20- points to 8 in a game in which the scores did not correctly represent the merits of the teams. The winners fielded the better pack, and were merely a five-point better side in consequence. Wanganui's backs were livelier, and Bullock-Douglas was the outstanding player on the field. Taranaki scored four tries, converted two, and kicked a field goal. Wanganui scored two tries and converted one.
