You meiij tion the names of some of the "giants who distinguished themselves iv this great oratorio, and 1 regretted that the late Mr. Johu Prouse was not included amongst them. Mr. Proime and I both studied under the late Sir Charles Santley, and John Prouse will ever be remembered iv New Zealand as one of the finest # exponents of the name part of the "Elijah over a period of at least thirty years.— lam, etc.,.
