GARDEN SNEAK THIEVES

(To the Editor.) Sir,—l would like to bring your attention to a matter which has caused great annoyance in Hataitai suburb of late. Sneak thieves have been helping themselves to plants from gardens in Hataitai Road within the last few nights. Pink hydrangeas are beautiful to look, at, but I* hope will only be an eyesore to the possessor of the stolen ones. The police have now been notified, and the thieves may get an unpleasant surprise very shortly. I would urge that people in Ha-' taitiii keep a sharp lookout over their propcities at night.—l am, etc., A DISGUSTED SUFFEIiER.
