BISCUIT AND FLOUR PROFITS.
A net profit of £9489, a reduction of 'only £133, in comparison with the previous year, is disclosed in the annual report and balance-sheet of Bycroft, Ltd., ilourmillers and ' biscuit •• manufacturers, Auckland, for_the year ended March 31 'fhe dividend is maintained at last year's rate of 9 1-6 per cent. The report states that although a little less than the previous year, the result is very satisfactory, ,-md it due to the solid retrenching policy, which the board has steadily followed, leaving made the customary ample provision for all contingencies, including an adequate anticipation of bad debts, income ■ taXj and depreciation; the directors iecfimmend-.a'dividend of 'ls,'lod"a share, t>t wiychI'brie-half was' paid as"an interim November* ■ - -
