MOTOR-CAR INSURANCE.
The majority of the motor-vehicles in tise in New Zealand are insured, but the exact provisions, of the policies they hold are realised by comparatively few of the owners -(remarks the "Sew Zealand Herald"). TheVopinion is widely held that an insurance company1 is liable if accessories', fittings, or spare wheels are stolen from a car, but this is not the case unless the car itself is also stolen, Ilho journal points out, A policy does not rjover damage caused when the driver of the,car is intoxicated, nor if the driver, ieven although an experienced man, does ijot hold a current licence. It is not Bu'ffiifient if he has had a licence for the previous year, and has forgotten or neglected to renew itj The "Herald" suggests that policy-holders should study the details in their policies.
