CLAIM FOR DAMAGES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., May 9. (Special damages amounting to £57 6s 6d and £.500 general damages for injuries received as the result of an accident were claimed by Olive Ruby McHardy, aged 18, of Dannevirke, from Edward James Douglas Walker and Dawson Patterson, of Dannevirke, in the Supremo .Court, before Mr. Justice Reed, this afternoon. The jury assessed the special damages at the amount claimed, and the general damages at £220. The proceedings were a sequel to an accident between two motor-cycles on the- Dannevirke-Tinakakuku Boad. The plaintiff was a pillion passenger.
