The Secretary for India (Sir Samuel Iloare), inaugurated today a new tele* phone service from England to India by talking with Sir Frederick Sykes, Governor of Bombay. Sir Samuel Hoare expressed the view that the most dangerous enemies to Anglo-Indian relations were ignoranc* and misunderstanding. Their power would be greatly diminished by th» spoken voice.
