BRACKETS AT AWAPUNI
At recent meetings brackets have been conspicuous by their absence, and actually at the, Wellington Meeting last week there was no double chance for investors in any race. Assemble and Kerbside were coupled in events, but the two horses did not start in the same race on any occasion. At the" Manawatu Meeting tomorrow investors are offered four double chances, and this number is almost a record for meetings in these parts this season. The brackets will be Lalla Quex , and Royal Dash in t the Autumn Plate, Shrewd and Chief Line, also Capetown and Golden Horn "in the Prince of Wales Handicap, and White Squall and -Cape Fair in the Te Matai Handicap.
