HAMILTON CUP CONTEST

The annual match between the Wellington and Lower Hutt Bowling Clubs for the Hamilton Cup was played yesterday afternoon on the Wellington Club greens, and resulted in a win for Hutt by six games to four. Conditions were, pleasant, though the breeze "was just a little strong for real comfort. The cup was given by Mr. A. Hamilton to cement the friendship between the clubs. . Odlin, vice-president of the Hutt Club, by Mr. Earl McKenzie, president of the Wellington Club, who expressed the hope that the friendly spirit engendered by- the annual contest would long continue to exist. . j Mr.' Odlin suitably acknowledged the trophs% and said how much, the games had been enjoyed. Mr. Hamilton, the donor of the cup, who was accorded musical honoiirs, expressed pleasure that the games had been so much enjoyed, and at meeting thenold friends from the Hutt.
