The wedding ivat, solemnised recently .it the Methodist Chuieh, Pctouo of Gwendoline Nellie, eldoi daughter of Mr. and Mis. C. F. Buid, to Andrew Weblcy, fourth son of Mis. and the late Mi. E. Mills, both of Pctoue. The Rev. U. J. James ofheiated, and Mr. Black played the wedding music. The bride, who was escoited. by her father, wore a gown of ivory georgette, with sleeves puffed to the elbow, the skirt bring panelled with lace falling into soft flares which widened into a train. Her embroidered riot veil was ai ranged cap fashion -nith small posies of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet; of whito roses.

Throe bridesmaids, Misses Kita Burd (chief, sister ot the bride), May Dickens, and Leo Mills (sister of the bridegroom), wore long frocks of powder blue georgette with circular ' frilled skirts and bodices finished with cape collars. Their •hats-of lemon.straw had satin bows under the brims, and they wore, lemon^mittens' and carried bouquets of shaded lemon roses. Mr. Len Clarke was best- man, .and Messrs. Charles Burd and Peter Hewitt groomsmqn; As the bride was leaving the church, little- Dolly McGrath presented her with a horseshoe.

A reception was held at the Petone T.cnnis Club pavilion, where the bride's mother received the guests, wearing an ensemble of navy blue crepe maroeain with a tagel straw hat to tone. She carried a posy- of red roses. The fovidc-gi-oorn's mother wore a gown of black crepe satin with a black hat, and carried a posy of red roses. The bride travelled in a Lido blue diagonal tailored costume with small blue hat. Mr. and Mrs. Mills left later by car for the North., Their future home will be in Lower Hutt.
