PREMIERS' CONFERENCE/
HELPING* WHEATGROWERS
MELBOURNE, 27th October. It is understood that the Premiers' Conference agreed to the flotation of a loan of £8,000,000 at 3} per cent., with an underwriting fee of 10s, making the efieetive percentage £,3 16s. The conference carried a resolution urging the Commonwealth Bank to find a sum not exceeding 2J millions for assistance to wheatgrowers in the various States.
