WEDDING
1 An evening wedding was solemnised at St. Paul's Church recently, when Eileen Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A... Keeble, Adelaide road, was married to Jeff ray, second son qi Mr: and Mrs. T. Barron, South Otago. The' Key. W. Bullock officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her fatli&r, wore a charming ankle-length gown of ivory brocaded satin, cut on graceful lines and fitting to -.the figure. Her veil, which formed a long train, was worn with, a circlet of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of cream roses and orchids. The bridesmaid, Miss Margaret Firth, "wore a long frock of apricot satin cut on slender lines with felt hat to match, and carried a posy of spring flowers. Little Valeric Keeble (sister of the bride) was flower girl, wearing a frock of the same shade as the bridesmaid's, made with full skirt and tiny frills. Her' hat was to match, and she carried a posy. Mr. Jim Barron (brother of the bridegroom) was best man. As the bridj left the church, Miss Varndell presented her with a lucky horse shoe. A reception was held at the residence of the bride's mother. Mrs. Keeble received her guests, wearing a powder blue floral georgette frock with hat to tone. Mrs. T. Barron ■ (mother of the bridegroom) wore a.black silk frock relieved with fawn, and long silk coat with hat to match. Later the bride and bridegroom left for the north, the bride wearing a smart wine-coloured frock, a blue coat with musquash collar and cuffs, and hat to match.
