RESTRAINT.ON CHILDREN
The City Council decided last night,' on tho recommendation, of tho Bylaws Committee, that ..no.'.farther', action should bo taken with-regard to framing a bylaw to prohibit tho use. of scooters on. city streets.
.The clause was fathered by the City Solicitor, and th'o City Engineor reported that scooters; were a menace. The Bylaws Committee, however, considered that parents' and teachers' restraining advice would' bo sufficient; an army of inspectors would be needed in order to- take over these family and i tutorial duties.
