LABOUR MASS DEMONSTRATION.
Under the auspices of the Labour Party a mass demonstration against the policy of the Coalition Government will be held to-morrow evening, in the Town Hall Among the questions to be considered are the threatened further cuts in wages and salaries, the amendments to the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act the position of women workers under ' the amending Bill, unemployment, and the economic condition of the country generally Mr. P. Fraser, M.P., will preside. The following speakers will address the meeting: Mr. H. E. Holland, Leader of the Opposition; Mr, J. A. Lee M P • Mr R. Semple M.P.; Mr. James* Roberts," secretary Alliance of Labour- Mr' E Kennedy, for the Trades and Labour Council; Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., and Mr. J. McCombs, M.P. A cordial invitation to attend is extended fo the general public. Doors' will open.at 7 p.m.
