SUBURBS CLUB
The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club completed its third shoot in the second 6eries on Saturday, wheu a practice match was fired at 300 and 500 yards. The weather conditions were excellent and some good scores were recorded, particularly at 501) yards. ' At 300 yards S. Neilson was top scorer with 46, while President M'Lean, H. R. Hunt, Dep.-President W. G. Fcllingham, and L. Cheyne each, scored 45. At 500 yards Dep.-President Goodall returned an excellent 49 (his second shot was an inner), L. Cheyne being next with 4G, followed by President M'Lean with 45, and H. R. Hunt and DeputyPresident Fellingham 44 each.; The top scorer for the day was L. Cheyne who, with his handicap, reached the coveted 100, though lie was not far ahead of President M'Lean and DeputyPresident Fcllingham, who both reached 99. The scores were:—
