House Party.
The home of Mrs. Sherstou at Akatarawa was the scene of a gay house party last week-end, beginning on Priday evening with a dance, at which many of the guests wore fancy dress. The'tennis court was always in demand, and tiio afternoons wero devoted to swimming and tramping, while each evening dancing was held in the lounge. Among those present wore: Mrs. Wells-Oregon (sister of tho hostess), Mesdames A. Redmond, V. Moran, and R. Raleigh; Misses C. Wilson, J. Millington, V. Carr, J. Powles, K. Con grove, 8.. Carter, A. King, I. Mills, and A. Batenburg; also Caplain Robert Sherston, Messrs. A.. Con-way-Stuart, T. Martin, P. Magill, 3T. Ma'gill, E. Carr, J. Stauton, D. Charteris.
