la connection with its scheme • for relieving boy unemployment .the RotaryV.M.C.A. Joint Committee is making a commencement wijfi that phase' of the scheme which is intended to occupy the time o£ the boys whilst waiting for' em: ployinent. The committee hopes to' be in a position shortly to announce' the commencement'of several classes of an .educational and vocational training nature. On Monday next ■ classes for health, recrea: tional training, and gymnastics, will- commence in the V.M.C.A. gymnasium. All unemployed boys who haves registered at the V.M.C.A. and desire to engage in recreational training are - requested to report at the, V.M.C.A.' gymnasium, 150, Willis street, on Monday, at 9.45 a.m., and'those who are, equipped with athletic shorts, singlet, towel, and sand shoes are asked to bring them. These classes will be provided;' with no cost to the boys, twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. Mr. H. J. Steptoe, boys' work secretary of jhe V.M.C.A., will be in charge of this work. ■
