An American visitor to New Zealand who called at the Government Tourist Bureau yesterday was inquiviug as to the means of getting to Paradise, in the Southern Lakes district. •'lt isn't that I'm really anxious to see (lie place," he explained, "but I've been to a place called Hell in Norway and annth'r callful Purgatory in Alaska, so I thought that it would be rather nice to see Paradise, llieu I'll have done the round trip."- ■
