NO TENDEE ACCEPTED

"OUT OF ALL REASON"

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. None of the four tenders for the carriage of air mails between Auckland and Dunedin has been accepted by tho Government. The Postmaster-General said to-day that unless some more satisfactory offer was mado there was no chance of. an air mail service. Although it had been made clear that (lie Government would not grant a subsidy, the tenders submitted called for a definite grant of a sum out of all reason. It should be clearly understood that the Government was not going to give subsidies to enable companies to be floated.
