PARACHUTIST HURT
INJURIES TO A" LEG
(By Telegraph—Press Association:) EOTOBXJA, 20th November. A parachute descent arranged by; the Rotorua Aero Club ended unfortunately, Captain Noah Jonnasson receiving injuries to a leg, the extent of which will not be.known until an X-ray examination is made. The sky. was cloudless and there was a high wind blowing when. Flying Officer Money, in the monoplane Arawa, took the air. After climbing to over 3000 ft, the parachutist jumped, apparently descending under perfect control. The aerodrome was crowded, and the spectators surmised the parachutist was attempting to guide himself from the crowd. He landed among adjacent scrub with considerable force. Captain Jonnasson. was taken to King George Hospital for treatment, suffering considerably from injuries ani shock. ■
