Tho newly-formed' Karori Musical Society is > making- good headway. At a recent meeting the conductor said that the society was'to be congratulated on its successful inaugration. Three, sections, were'-'definitely^ formed —vocal, orchestral, and dramatic The society Was fortunate in having a fair number of professional and experienced amateurs in each section. . Johnston (musical director), were given a vote. of thanks, and congratulated on their successful organising.
