A SUCCESSFUL CONCERT.
A moat successful concert was.heldJast week at the King .George Theatre, Lower Hutt, organised by the. Hutf Valley, High School Parents' Association. . It was a, splendid example of co-operation between parents ami pupils attending a school an example that could, be well followed by other schools. Tho growth of Uiis institution is remarkahlo; tennis courts, basketball courts, etc.,. and a library, have come Into existence through the funds derived from the efforts or various committees drawn from the Parents Association. Proof of the popularity s ol' the association's concerts, is afforded by tho crowded houses always attracted. Mr. Albert KiisseU, Mr • Willior ■ Davios, and: Miss ■ Xgaire Coster yavc their valuable services, which added considerably to the .programme put on by the school pupils. Au interesting feature was the play entitled "The Monkey's Paw," ably performed by tho Past Pupils' Association. Mr. H. B. Brusey was an excellent accompanist for tho very varied assortment of. items. ■-
