In the second., spell Karori m^de a determined effort,, and forced the. pace up to the last minute. Needhain scored Karon's two goals, and Fleming.scored for University. Mr. R. Watchman was the referee. A WIN FOR HUTT. Hutt and University were well matched at the Hutt Recreation Ground, and at half-time there was no score. M'Leod and the other Hutt halves harassed the University forwards, and when the Greens penetrated to the home team's circle they wore unable to shoot accurately. Smith scored for Hutt about a quarter of an hour after the interval, and Hoare followed suit a few minutes later, the game'ending: Hutt 2, University 0. The referee was Mr. W. A. Scott.
