Playing at .the Petone- Recreation Ground, University A defeated Petone by 5 goals to 2. The game was fast- and open, but combination and stickwork were seriously affected by the roughness of the ground. At half-time University led by 1 goal to nil. Lewis, MaeDuff, Ferris (2), and Jacobsen scored for University, and Lindop and Warrington for Petone. Mr. R. j. Iloyd was the referee.
