THREE MONTHS FOR THEFT

BLENHEIM, This Day.
Eric Boyd Swanwick, aged 29, was sentenced at Pictoii to three months' hard labour for tho theft of £2 11s. The accused received tho money from Joseph Feotham, a Public Works ganger at Wharanui, to pay to Koy Herd at Picton, but, failed to do so, and produced a forged receipt.
