ACTION FOR DAMAGES
The hearing of evidence was concluded yesterday afternoon in the Supreme Court case in which Alexander Francis M'Callum, bushfellcr, of Carterton, claimed £1058 damages from the Phoenix Assurance Company, Ltd., and Walter Alfred Bandall Pinfold, carrier, of Carterton. The claims arose out of an accident which occurred on the Carter-ton-Taratnhi road on 3rd September last. The case was adjourned to enable legal argument to be heard.
