VISITING AUSTKALIA

Partners < tours have become very popular, and some of the lessons learnt by travel in other countries aro said to be very valuable. Following the visit here of the. British, Australian, and South African farmers, New Zealand farmers, about the middle of next month,''will--leave-for a tour of Australia, visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and towns on route, scenic attractions, and .different types of Australian farms. The> party will consist of not less than 50 and not more than 80. Where practicable, experts from the Departments of Agriculture and' State Rivers and Water-supply Commission ■ will travel with the party to give any [information desired regarding any [phase of primary production. Irrigation areas will receive special attention, and prize herds, maize growing, pig farming, orchards, wheat 3 and grazing lands will-all be visited. Great interest is being shown in. Australia concerning the'visit, and already a number of cablegrams have been received seeking information regarding it.
