The Economic Advisory Council set up by the Prime Minister to co-ordin-jato the work of the Department concerned, with economic and industrial matters* and to adviso on trade matters, has begun its work, and has appointed an Imperial Sub-Committee, of' which Sir Arthur Balfour is chairman.
