PREPARING FOR WAR
SPRING HOSTILITIES IN CHINA

SHANGHAI, 14th February.
Preparations are now afoot for spring hostilities among China's warring factions, and as a result the Government is busily commandeering all available tonnage to transport its soldiers northward to meet the latest threat coming from Yen Hsishan Shausi, a war lord, who has hitherto been neutral, but who now despairs of tho Government's ability to unify the country.
