When the Treasury estimates were under consideration in. the House, of Representatives this afternoon, tho Minister of Justice (the Hon. T. M. Wilford, K.C.) said that_when the DeputyLeader of the House (the Hon. G. W. Forbes) was making his statement a few Says ago on behalf of the Prime Minister, in regard to the London loan negotiations, he (Mr. Wilford) had interjected, "I also ada my regrets." As apparently no notice had been taken of that interjection, ho thought that, in justice to the Hon. W. Downie Stewart (Keform, Dunedin West), he should repeat what he had said when .Mr. Forbes was making his statement.' ■ , ■
