The following rules and regulations aro. in future to apply to all municipal croquet The word "municipal" to be embodied in the name of the club.
The maximum members per court to bo twenty active playing members. The rules of the club shall provide that any residont of the city may be nominated for membership by two members of the club, and that when a ballot is taken no loss a proportion o£ members than one-fifth of all the members of. the club shall be able to exclude a candidate at any ballot.
That when a court is less than the full size of 28 x 35, but considerably more than half that area, only half the usual rental will be charged, and the membership quota be allocated on the same basis. No person may remain a member or two croquet courts if either club lias a waiting list: The entrance fee for new members shall not be more than 10s ,6d, and the annual subscription not more than £2 2a. The lawns shall be let on a yearly tenure by the City Council in Septembor, the season opening in October." AH clubs applying for lawns must forward to the City Council, not later than 31st August, the annual report, balance-sheet, list of members, and waiting list for the year.. A clause dealing with rental was referred back to the committee.
