WESTPORT WHARF

The Minister of Public "Works (the Hon. E. A. Eansom) stated to-day that information had been received from Mr. Sharp indicating that the "Westport Wharf is safe for shipping. Mr. Sharp's telegraphic report to the Minister reads as follows:—• "Close inspection .reveals that stringers, caps, and bracing all sound. One pile shattered.
