(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") CHKISTCHUKCH, This Day. "There is just a chance that the slips have uncovered befls that may possibly contain gold reefs, but:the chance is small," said Professor B. Speight, Professor of Geology at Canterbury University College,'when asked whether he considered that the earthquake may have brought to the surface gold that has hitherto been undiscovered.
